With just one day to go until the Literature exam, I have created and uploaded a video for you to revise – THE OF MICE AND MEN RAP!
Take a moment to watch it, hopefully you’ll find it useful and even remember some of it for the exam in the morning.

I’m certainly not a contender for ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, but hopefully it will help you!

What is McArthyism and is there a possibility of there being a question on it?
There won’t be a question directly on it, but you might have to make a brief reference to it.
Long story short, there was an American senator (politician) called ‘McCarthy’ who led the anti-communist trials in 1950s USA. Anybody who didn’t agree with the US government was suspected of being a communist and sent to court/jail. Arthur Miller has a strong link between the anti-witchcraft trials and the anti-communist trials. He wrote the play as an ‘ALLEGORY’ to show the parallels between the two trials. Miller is critical of McCarthyism and thinks that it led to unwarranted hyteria (much like in Salem)
That wasn’t really a long story short, was it? But I hope it helped!
Thnx for that! NIce and brief.
