With just three weeks to go until the exams are in full flow, your revision should be well underway and we hope that the blog is proving to be useful. However, if you find that there is an area where you are struggling and you would like extra help, please let us know.
We are looking at these areas:
- The Crucible
- Of Mice and Men
- Character and Voice Poetry
- Unseen Poetry
- Language Exam – Reading
- Language Exam – Writing
Please be specific with you requests. For example, don’t just ask for Crucible revision – make it clear what you need: perhaps language techniques or how themes are presented?
We will write a post on the most popular requests, so tell us what you want in the comments box below:
Last this, this blog did predictions on the questions that might come up for The Crucible based on the themes/characters chosen on previous years. I understand that it’s impossible to accurately predict the upcoming questions, but is there any chance you could do a similar predictions table based on the questions from last year as well? Thanks very much for all of the help so far.
Great idea! As you said, we can’t truly predict but it is a useful way to focus revision some likely topics. We will update that post soon!
I’m sat here now in an internal isolation room revising, and I must say your blog is extremely helpful to me.
For example… I’ve been reading through some of your work on Unseen Poetry and it’s given me great pointers to begin to understand how to and successfully analyze an unseen poem, thanks!
That’s great to hear, Luke! Thanks for your kind comment.
